Thai Foot Massage

What is Thai Foot Massage?

Treatments and training_edited.jpg

As I became more experienced with Reiki treatments, I found myself being drawn to client’s feet and feeling in my body where associated areas were out of balance. As this happened more and more, I invested in “Reflexology for Beginners”, a book by Stefanie Sabounchian and discovered that “everything in the body, from top to bottom and front to back, has a corresponding reflex location on the feet, hands and ears”. Having booked myself into three reflexology treatments to gain more of a ‘hands on’ type of understanding, it was again fascinating to feel a deep state of relaxation and discover the areas of imbalance that were brought to the surface.

Further study led me to gaining a qualification in Thai Foot Massage and an understanding of Sen Energy lines.  When the flow of energy is blocked along these lines, usually due to stress / poor lifestyle habits, health problems can develop and when this trapped energy is released through modalities such as Thai Foot Massage, balance and good health can be restored.

You will see from one of the testimonials that a client came to me who had been suffering with frostbite in his legs for more than 15 years. There’s no quick fix with such things and his lower legs and feet were quite painful.  It was rewarding for us both that regular Thai Foot massage noticeably helped to improve his circulation and reduced his day to day pain.  It’s at such times that I can’t help but offer up loads of gratitudes for having tools that can make such a positive difference in someone’s life.
